Directions for use:

Wet hair. Apply a quarter-sized amount to WET palms of hands. Rub hands together to distribute shampoo to both hands. Start lathering at the ENDS OF HAIR. Then work lather upwards towards the scalp. Finger-comb through lathered hair and gently scrub scalp (with fingertips, NOT nails). Rinse. Repeat if necessary.
